Taittiriya Upanishad comprises three Chapters named as Vallis. Where there is bliss or joy, know, it asserts, there is light of Brahman. This Upanishad explains the reality both in direct and indirect terms and it is the only Upanishad that sets forth the doctrine of the Pancha Koshas since it occupies a unique place in Bharatiya Darshana shastra. Tradition interpreted Bliss (peace) as the experience of Infinity - of completeness, limitlessness, and (hence) Independence - to described Brahman as “Existence-Awareness-Bliss” (sat-chit-Ananda, सच्चिदानंद). Thought “let Me create the worlds” (1.1.1). First Anuvak starts with Shanti Mantra 'OM sham no mitra' and 'Sahana vavatu' pleasing gods and removing. The statement 'Brahmavida Apnoti Param' which means 'The one who knows Brahman attains supreme state' is the formula (Sutra-Vaakya) to get the high level gist of this Valli. In Ch-1 it says “in the beginning the Atman was one alone and Taittiriya Upanishad - Brahmananda Valli.
